    \n
  1. You have to become member of the Agreement relating to the consignment, recovery and recycling of non-refillable soft drink containers (the Agreement).<\/em> To do this, you must complete Schedule F of the Agreement and send it back to us.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. When BGE has accepted your application, we will make the request on your behalf with the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and the Fight against Climate Change (MDDELCC) to obtain the distribution permit for the province.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      This permit is free with a delay of two weeks. You cannot sell soft drink in the Province of Quebec before receiving the permit and the approval by BGE of the label on containers.<\/em><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. If you are having activities in Quebec, you will also need to get a Qu\u00e9bec enterprise number (NEQ) with the Register of enterprises of Quebec: (http:\/\/www.registreentreprises.gouv.qc.ca\/fr\/demarrer\/register \/ default.aspx<\/a>). This must be done by you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. Before distributing non-refillable soft drink containers (CRU) in Quebec, it is important to refer to Schedule D of the Agreement concerning the identification of containers. Your container must carry the words “Consign\u00e9e Qu\u00e9bec 5\u00a2 Refund” within established standards. BGE must approve this mention prior to the first production or importation of the product.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \n
          1. When you distribute non-refillable soft drink containers in Quebec, you have to charge a 0.05$ deposit to customers for each container sold, given or distributed. This should appear on a separate line<\/strong> of your invoice.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              \n
            1. Between the 10th and 15th of each month, you must complete the declaration (in units) for all containers sold, delivered or given during the previous month. The link to make your monthly statement is:\u00a0http:\/\/bgerecyc.consignaction.ca<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Note that a Registrant shall also collect from any person to whom it sells, delivers or donates outside Quebec soft drinks in non-refillable containers, a deposit of $0.05 for each container that bears an inscription identical to or similar to that provided for in Schedule D, or any other inscription which could lead someone to believe that the container is returnable in Quebec for refund of the deposit under the terms of the Agreement unless the total deposit amount and any other refundable amount upon return of such container (or similar container), at the location where it is thus sold, delivered or given, is equal to or greater than the amount of deposit that should be collected in accordance with this Agreement. The deposit cannot be charged separately on invoices to your customers in that province but must still be declared and remitted to BGE. Information on the sale outside of Quebec can be found in Article 4.1<\/strong> of the Agreement.<\/em><\/p>\n

              1. On or before the 20th of each month, you must make the appropriate payment by electronic transfer or check. Remittance should be sent to the following address:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                1. For a non-recoverer, there is a non-refundable contribution to be paid to BGE for each container sold, delivered or given (0.01$ per aluminum can, 0.03$ per plastic bottle & 0.05$ per glass bottle) to compensate recoverers that perform recovery for you. Article 8.1.3<\/strong> of the Agreement addresses this matter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    \n
                  1. The information given in the Registration Form as well as a detailed list of all the products sold, delivered or given by the Registrant shall be kept up-to-date by the Registrant. The Registrant shall notify B.G.E. within fifteen days foregoing any change. The Registrant shall also submit an update concerning sold, delivered or given products on the fifteenth day of each month (article 3.4<\/strong> of the Agreement).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                      \n
                    1. You must submit no later than March 31st of each year an annual statement of your sales for the previous year. The reporting model is in Schedule E and E-1 of the Agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”30″][vc_column_text]Beverage container programs in Canada<\/b><\/p>\n

                      Being compliant with the regulatory requirements in a province does not mean that you are allowed to distribute similar containers in other provinces. If you wish to distribute similar containers in other provinces, you must contact the appointed managers for these provinces.
